We got lots of snow over the weekend.
I am over snow. Come on spring!
I know it is good for all the wildfires here in CO so I need to be patient. I am just longing for grass and days at the park. I am sure by 2 pm tomorrow it will be all melted, anyways.
It is pretty hard to train for a half marathon when the snow is crazy outside. Running on a treadmill just isn’t the same.
Also, I just cut out wheat and dairy from my diet. Which is pretty sad. I heart carbs. However, I think it will help me feel better on my runs, and train more efficiently. But snow days make me want to eat doughnuts and mac n cheese after a long run.
So, this might be my most random post ever. That is ok. I am feeling a bit frazzled after taking a long vacation. Sometimes a blogger has that random I-didn’t-know-what-to-post-so-I-word-vomited moments. Well, this is mine;). Ha!
We are closing on a house next week. I know I should be stressing, but I am not. I am pretty darn excited. I cannot believe soon we will have our own little space. I can even have a garden, a chicken, and a dog if I want (my landlords have always been sticklers with dogs).
My little girl started walking last week. A whole new world has begun for me and Brian. No longer can we sit and play with her, we must walk around the house non-stop, doing that half bent over thing where we let her grab our fingers. It is quite hilarious, really. Getting anything done has become almost impossible, as her little “tweezer fingers” are ready to explore and get into everything- and the most dangerous items are her priority to inspect!
Alright, that is my update. I have a list that is way too long of more serious and thoughtful blog posts I intend to write here soon. I just need time. Oh sweet time!
I hope your Sunday is filled with love and laughter.
