I’m not really a baseball fan (okay, not at all)… But I am enjoying a spring training game in warm and lovely Phoenix, AZ.
I miss Phoenix so often. The sun, cacti, Sonoran desert, and orange-pink sunsets are like no other.
This week I have enjoyed some of my favorites: Mexican food from my local spot Carolina’s, a good margarita, wearing shorts and flip flops, getting a good tan (my white legs were awful!), and a little swimming.
Swaying palm trees and green grass have put me into full fledged summer mode. I am ready to put away my boots and pull out my hiking gear. I am ready for wild flowers and spontaneous runs. Snow storms please go away (no offense, skiers and boarders).
I apologize for my very little blogging this past week. I have been in a bit of a daze- immensely enjoying time with my family, celebrating my baby’s first year, and kind of just kicking back and taking it all in.
I am soaking it all in. The sun. The food. The laughter.
This was a lovely hiatus- a pause in my life. I feel refreshed and ready to jump back into the daily grind. Which is why I say I am blessed. To get to be refreshed at all.
Spring break- you are so dreamy. 🙂
