Green Giant Chips-a healthy snack alternative! (Review)

It’s summer time! Don’t you love it? Sandals, dresses, and swimming pools. One of my favorite parts of summer is the food. I love barbecues and enjoying a beer in the warm sun. A delicious burger and some chips. Yum.

Speaking of barbecue and chips- I just tried the new Green Giant Chips Multigrain Sweet Potato Chip Barbecue flavor and the Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chip Garden Ranch. They were so good! My two favorite kinds of chips are tortilla chips and sweet potato chips, so naturally I couldn’t wait to taste these.

(My daughter, Lillian, enjoying Green Giant Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips on our back porch in sunny Colorado).

My favorite part about these chips is that they actually have real veggies in them. The flavor is so good that they don’t have that typical “healthy” taste to them.

I found the chips had the perfect balance of salty, flavorful, tangy, crunch, and even a hint of spice. Everything I want in a good chip. I think both flavors would taste excellent with a chicken sandwich with a slice of swiss cheese and a summer wheat beer!

My daughter really enjoyed the Sweet Potato chips! These chips are definitely a great choice for healthy snacks for kiddos, too. They are made with Whole Grain Corn Flour and Sweet Potatoes. The Green Giant chips have 14g Whole Grain, are made with real veggies, have 0g trans fat, and have 40% less fat than regular potato chips. So, if your going to let your child have some chips, these are a healthy alternative!

Try them out. Let me know your thoughts!
