No man is an island. And no blogger is an isolated web page. Like my metaphor? Not sure it works. Anyways, my point is I am so happy when I meet new blogging friends and share some sort of connection with them. Blogging is so weird. It is a lot like gaming, really. (My husband would NOT agree). You just sit there, staring at your computer screen for hours being pretty darn social but not saying a single word.
Sometimes it is nice to do old-fashioned email instead of checking news feeds and comments and really get to know someone, ask questions, or probe one another’s mind. I have been lucky to get to know Suzanna from One Hoolie Mama. Yea, we are both busy and often times responding to one email takes longer than it should, but it is really rad to get to know her and chat about our blogs. I wish I knew more blogging friends in person, but this is a great alternative.
I would love to share with you all some things I have learned about her along the way. Go say hi if possible!
What is your favorite fall dish?
Chili – and I prefer it with both meat and beans and served with cheddar, sour cream and over egg noodles.
If you could be anywhere right now, where would you be?
Home – always home. I love our home and my husband and son are my favorite people to be with. 🙂
Most annoying habit:
My most annoying habit? Probably saying I’ll do something and then forgetting to do it because I don’t write it down. I’ve got a lot of balls in the air, and it’s dumb of me to try to rely on my memory to get everything done.
Dream job if money didn’t matter:
I’m not really sure…but I do know that it would focus on encouraging other women (mainly mamas), and also caring for animals (mostly dogs in shelters).
One item you cannot live without: My iPhone, unfortunately. 😉 I’m a total social media junkie, and love to keep in touch with my friends and family as much as possible through technology.
Stay tuned, friends! Oh, and link up your experiences with Big’s and Little’s!
