Let’s Be Friends Blog Hop is now live! Come link up!

Welcome to the Let’s Be Friends Blog Hop!

A blog hop is a set time frame for current or aspiring bloggers to find new blogs and quality content. It is a great way to make new friends and find inspiration! It is also a fabulous way to promote your own blog and posts.

Dear Friends,
What a day to celebrate! This is the 137th week of the Let’s Be Friends blog hop! Thanks for joining us on this special day. Chelsee and Tiffany are extremely delighted to see the way this hop has grown and love to see your faces each week!

**IMPORTANT HOUSEKEEPING NOTE! We are looking for co-hosts for our blog hop for September/ October! This is a great way to gain new followers and network with other bloggers! If you are interested please email thedwellingtree@gmail.com! Thank you!

Join us every Tuesday at 7am (MST). This blog hop focuses on content. LINK UP YOUR FAVORITE POST from last week in this fun content-sharing blog hop! I love the idea of blog hopping, but I love the idea of reading posts and quality content on new blogs I’ve never been to even more. Instead of simply linking up your blog button, you are now able to link up your favorite post you recently wrote. Have a delicious recipe to share, DIY tutorial, or heartfelt post? Share it with us! All hosts and co-hosts put up some unique and fun content from the past week. Make sure to check them out. P.S.- you may still link up your blog button and blog name, but it is encouraged to link up your favorite post instead. You will get more page views and interest if you do so! Some of the most successful blog hops I have participate in focus on content rather than just exchanging follows. You never know who will become a loyal follower or pin that delicious new recipe you posted!

The BEST part of this blog hop? Each week there will be a WINNER! That’s right, each week we will choose one lucky blog to feature from the previous week’s hop. This hop receives thousands of page views every week, so your blog will have the chance to be center stage for free. You must follow all the hosts and co-hosts in order to win. Only those who link up a specific post are eligible to be featured! *You must follow all the hosts and co-hosts in order to win.
The last exciting change is that the co-host spots will now be available to all sponsors of The Dwelling Tree or Southern Beauty Guide. If you are interested in co-hosting the blog hop, email Tiffany or Chelsee about sponsorship opportunities and how to co-host the weekly hop!

Confessions of a Mother

Hey everyone! This is Chelsee this week! Thanks to everyone for linking up such fabulous posts! This week’s winner talked about being a mother. I personally not only as a blogger but as a reader look for posts that you feel are from the heart and are more on the personal side. Trisha over at The Ham and Cheese of It really got personal in talking about motherhood in her confessions. Want to know what is unreal to me? This post has over 100+ comments. This alone should tell you how amazing it is to read. Though I am not a mother the raw emotions poured out in this post captured my attention, not to mention the gorgeous pictures! This is a post that everyone needs to read!
Go check out Trisha’s blog, The Ham and Cheese of It! She has lots of great posts and an awesome blog!

I used to love dirt in worms when I was a kid! Do you remember making them? Delicious OREO, chocolate pudding, and gummy worms. These fun, clever little Go-Paks are perfect for kiddos and can be taken anywhere. It only takes minutes to assemble, and the cups are plastic and don’t leak. Win!

I made a couple varieties, but the options are pretty much endless. I had to try Dirt in Worms (OREO, chocolate pudding, and gummy worms) for my daughter, and I made a yummy banana pudding with the NABISCO Go-Paks! Mini NILLA Wafers, Snack Pack® Pudding Cups in Vanilla,  and Reddi-Wip Original. The Go-Paks are great also because they are just $1 at Walmart. I usually buy these for traveling since they are lightweight and clean to take on the road or airplane.

Our days lately have been really busy. Now that Lil started preschool, violin lessons, and gymnastics soon, I am always scrambling for snack ideas. Sometimes I like to mix it up and do something fun and different. Lil did really well this morning at her violin lesson, so I decided to allow her to have a dessert after she got some play time today. She loves OREO’s, and they are definitely a special treat for her. To her delight, I made a few of these Go-Paks for my family. I even indulged in one myself, because it had been a while since I had something like this. The Dirt in Worms brought me back to my childhood days. I felt totally nostalgic.

We ended up having a lovely discussion about nature and plants from this little cup. It was really fun. Bringing science into the kitchen- that’s the way I like to parent.

These would be perfect for a sleepover or a birthday party. I am actually thinking a Go-Paks bar might be fun for my daughter’s next party with lots of different toppings. I even think adults would wanna join in the fun!

What combo would you do? Give me some ideas! Check out more delicious Go-Pak recipes at DeliciousMomentsOfJoy.com.
