Three easy tips to reduce eye wrinkles and dark spots! (Review)

Getting older has many delights, but one of the downfalls are the little creases that have appeared around my eyes lately. I love trying different products to reduce the signs of aging, dark circles, and wrinkles- especially products and techniques that are budget-friendly and do not require any needles or procedures!

I am really excited to review a product called VIIcode O2M Oxygen Eye Mask. This mask was really fun to review in the comfort of my own home and gets really good ratings on Amazon- always a plus!

Drink lots of water

First, one of the best ways I have found for my eyes to look less puffy and wrinkly is to drink lots of water. I find that when I am dehydrated my face tends to just look older. Drinking water has so many amazing benefits, as we all know and hear, but one of the awesome benefits is it also makes us look healthier and younger!

Sleep!

This tip is another no-brainer, but sometimes we all simply need a good reminder of the simple things. Sleep is so important for our bodies! When I get a good nights sleep, my eyes feel refreshed and those dark circles are almost nowhere to be found.

Beauty Products

This is where help comes in when you are having a rough week or need a little boost. I loved trying these VIIcode O2M Oxygen Eye Masks because I am currently pregnant and hardly sleeping. I wake up so many mornings and look in the mirror and think, ouch. Sleep would have been nice.

Wearing mask- no makeup, it is weird not to wear makeup and post pics online!

The masks are made to help reduce dark circles, puffiness, fine lines, and bags around and under the eyes. They also have a 100% money back guarantee, which is always nice!

Each mask features Oxygen Plant Extract to help restore collagen and fibers, Welwitschia Mirabillis to help repair cells, and Recovery fern to help support cell rejuvenation.

What I loved was how easy the masks were to apply. I simply followed the directions and placed each eye mask under my eyes before I went to sleep. They stuck nice and gripped the area below my eyes, and had a cooling sensation. I was advised to leave them on for up to eight hours. Mine started coming off around 6 hours, probably because I move too much when I sleep, but by then I feel as though the benefits had soaked in.

After

I noticed in the morning the area under my eyes felt more taut and firm. I couldn’t help but keep touching the area because it felt really smooth and good. My skin felt rejuvenated!

My favorite part of these eye masks is that they don’t require a spa visit or have a spa price tag. While they aren’t SUPER cheap, they are also definitely within my budget for a beauty product to improve the look and feel of my skin without totally breaking the bank- such as a spa or skincare visit or procedure.

I am very excited to try these more often to see what they do to help improve the appearance of my skin!

You never know who will become a loyal follower or pin that delicious new recipe you posted!

Big news!

It is a little crazy I am posting this so late in the game, but I am happy to announce that I am pregnant! We are having our baby girl #2 in just one week. There have been so many times I almost posted this but was always a little hesitant.

See, last year I had a loss. Nineteen weeks into what seemed like a healthy pregnancy I lost my son. It was kind of a traumatic experience, like all losses and miscarriages are. The beautiful part is we were able to hold him and meet him before releasing him into the hands of God. It was an event that changed me forever in so many ways. For example, the way I view pregnancy, and my intense fear of losing this baby as well. Even though day to day that fear doesn’t seem real, I know it is, because it has been truly hard for me to sit and write about these things.

Yet God is SO good, and here we are, one week away from meeting another sweet miracle. She will be a rainbow baby, a sweet beacon of light and hope after a dark and stormy time in our lives.

Our five year old daughter is beyond thrilled to meet her baby sister. She’s been preparing by taking care of her baby dolls- dressing and feeding them, and being such a great caretaker.

Our house feels almost ready. I am exhausted, as all end of term pregnant moms tend to be. My body is sore- my belly huge! My back in pain. The days feel long but go super quick.

My heart is on the verge of bursting, I know that full well. I am SO beyond excited to grow our family and for my daughter to have a sister. That is the best gift I  can think of giving her!

If I am or have been a little absent on my blog, this is why. Writing should always come from the heart and be genuine, honest, and real. Which is why I have waited to share my news until now.
