I was craving chocolate this past weekend. But I am on a kick to try healthy desserts. This milkshake was the best thing I have had in a long time. Who knew avocado, honey, dates, cocoa powder and almond milk could create such a luscious, rich, chocolaty shake?! This is a new staple in my home. I loved it. And it was amazing fuel for a trail run.
Frosty Milkshake (Gluten Free/ Dairy Free)
2/3 cup almond milk
1/4 cup honey
1/3 cup cocoa powder
4 dates, pitted
1/2 large avocado
3 cups ice cubes
This recipe is for 2-3 people.
Pop it all in a blender and blend until smooth!
